Getting regular exercise is another way to improve your health. However, it can wreak havoc on your skin if you don’t take the proper precautions. To ensure your skin feels as refreshed as your body during and after an invigorating workout, follow these steps:
Remove makeup before starting a workout: The combination of sweat and makeup can cause blackheads, acne and other harm to your skin. It's important to sweat so you can cleanse your pores and rejuvenate your skin—wearing makeup during your workout can hinder this. Pack along a gentle
makeup remover in your gym bag and use it before workouts.
Eliminate the
sweat from your body and your face: Always carry a clean towel with you during workouts. Wiping away sweat with your hands will only spread bacteria and the chances of developing acne.
Stay hydrated: We already lose water from our bodies throughout the day without even factoring in a good workout. Drinking water before, during and after workouts will help keep you and your skin hydrated.
Cleanse your face: After a good workout, you want to wash your face and apply a good
acne cleanser to eliminate any grime or oils on your skin. If not, you could end making your pores even more clogged than before.
Do you keep your skin in mind while working out?
