We all know skincare varies with different skin types, but did you know you should be tending to your skin both day and night? What you should be doing to help protect and nourish your skin in the day differs at night.
During the day, specifically in the morning, you should cleanse gently with an acne cleanser or a cleansing lotion. Hydration is key to healthy skin. Using a day moisturizer can help protect the skin because it is also infused with an SPF to protect your skin from the sun.
In the evening, make sure to remove all of your makeup to let your skin breathe using a good makeup remover. Then, apply a night moisturizer over the entire face and neck area using upward and outward strokes.
