There are many things we do for our skin like using the right kinds of products, wearing sunscreen and staying hydrated, but we often forget that there are little factors in making our skin shine.
Clean your beauty brushes. Bacteria found in makeup brushes can lead to acne and infection. Rinse your brushes with water first and then apply a drop of gentle shampoo, creating a lather. Next, wash them well and use a towel to ring out the water. Let the brushes air-dry.
Something else to watch out for when it comes to bacteria is the product itself. Many of us forget that skincare and beauty products do expire, causing everything from eye infections to irritated skin to allergic reactions. If a product’s smell or color has changed, it’s time to throw it out.
Don’t underestimate the power of sleep for your skin and wellbeing. Sleep is free cosmetic medicine, revitalizing the skin.
