There are several things that can prevent our skin from being at its healthiest. Here are just a few things you should be watching out for: Like hot showers? Your skin doesn’t. Hot showers are terrible for your skin because washes away skin’s protective oils, leaving it dry, tight, and itchy. Make sure the water you use in the shower isn’t too hot to avoid this.
Too Much Touching
How many times a day do you touch your face? Now, how many times do you touch door knobs, keyboards, keys, steering wheels or train or bus rails? Transferring dirt to the face leads to breakouts and clogged pores. Try to avoid touching your face, especially when your hands aren’t clean. Carry hand sanitizer with you if you still find yourself touching your face often.
Scratching that Itch.
Scratching one spot on your body repeatedly can scrape off top layers of skin, causing dryness and irritation, exposing your skin to infection. Using a moisturizing lotion should relieve your skin from itchiness.
