Your Twice-Daily Routine
Follow these simple steps when you wake in the morning and before bed at night for beautiful, glowing skin.
-
Step One: Cleanse
Morning & Evening
Select the cleanser that is most appropriate for your skin. If you have mild acne and are prone to dryness, Cleansing Lotion may be a more appropriate selection for you. If your acne is moderate-to-severe, select Acne Cleanser.
Acne Cleanser Directions: Gently apply a nickel-size amount of Acne Cleanser to your skin. Using your fingertips, massage product onto all areas of your face, being careful to avoid the eye area. Leave product on for approximately 30 seconds before rinsing.
Cleansing Lotion Directions: Gently apply a quarter-size amount of Cleansing Lotion to your dampened face. Using your fingertips, massage all areas of your face and neck for at least 30 seconds before rinsing.
-
Step Two: Refresh
Optional for Morning & Evening
Mist Tone & Balance over the face and neck to remove last traces of dirt, makeup and debris from the skin while minimizing redness and inflammation.
Pro tip: Use Tone & Balance throughout the day to ease any discomfort associated with breakouts while nurturing skin. Tone & Balance can also be used to set makeup, in place of aftershave, to calm the discomfort of sunburn, in place of body lotion after a bath or shower, and more.
-
Step Three: Optimize Skin Clarity
Morning & Evening
Use Clarifying Lotion as a spot treatment for minor blemishes or all-over face for moderate-to-severe acne. Massage product onto skin, taking care to avoid the eyes. Do not rinse off.
Pro tip: As skin adjusts to use of Clarifying Lotion you may experience increased dryness. If this happens, use Tone & Balance to calm and balance the skin. Furthermore, reduce use of Clarifying Lotion to every other day until your skin adjusts, at which time you can begin to build up to a daily frequency.
-
Step Four: Exfoliate
Morning & Evening
Place a nickel-size amount of AloeGlyC® in the palm of your hand. Using fingertips, massage AloeGlyC onto all areas of face and neck using upward and outward circles. Continue until blue vitamin C beads have dissolved. Take caution to avoid eyes.
Pro tip: If you are starting AloeGlyC for the first time, dilute it with moisturizer and only use it at night. Decrease dilution and increase usage over a two-week period to give your skin time to adjust.
-
Step Five: Select a Moisturizer
Morning and/or Evening
Select the moisturizer that is best for your skin. Those with few breakouts who tend to be oily may use Daily Moisturizer for Oily Skin - morning and evening. If you have moderate-to-severe acne, use Acne Moisturizer with SPF 15. While Acne Moisturizer with SPF 15 can be used morning or evening, those who prefer not to use a product with SPF 15 in the evening can instead use Daily Moisturizer for Oily Skin at night.
-
Using clean, dry hands, apply a small amount of moisturizer to the face and neck using gentle strokes. Wait 3-5 minutes before applying makeup, to ensure that product is fully absorbed.
Pro tip: If using Daily Moisturizer for Oily Skin as your daytime moisturizer, follow with use of Sunscreen Spray to protect your skin from UV damage.

More Information for Acne-Prone Skin Type
Acne is the most common skin condition that is treated by dermatologists. Once considered an affliction of our teenage years, today, countless individuals struggle with acne throughout their lives. With a comprehensive treatment approach that addresses the four main causes of acne, breakouts can be eliminated and, in many cases, the skin can be completely controlled.
Lexli’s skin care routine for acne skin is unique in that it offers:
-
A Comprehensive Approach
Products in the line work in concert to address the multiple causes of acne. -
A High Concentration of Pharmaceutical-Grade Aloe Vera
Each product’s therapeutic base of organic, pharmaceutical-grade aloe vera not only calms inflammation but also minimizes the bacteria that cause acne. -
Improved Skin Function
Lexli products work to optimize overall skin health. When skin function improves, acne symptoms diminish. -
Improved Oil Control
Products in the Lexli acne line help to normalize sebum levels, thereby reducing shine and oiliness. -
Gentle Ingredients that Don't Over-Dry
Lexli acne products work to achieve proper skin hydration and typically do not cause excessive dryness, as is common with many acne products.
NOTE: If dryness occurs when implementing the Lexli acne regimen, it is advised that you reduce use of Clarifying Lotion and Acne Moisturizer with SPF 15 to morning only, as your skin needs to build up its tolerance of these products. Lexli Daily Moisturizer for Oily Skin may be used in place of Acne Moisturizer.
After beginning the Lexli skin care routine for acne, breakouts may worsen as the skin adjusts to the regimen. This is a temporary effect that typically subsides within two weeks.
