Your Twice-Daily Routine
Follow these simple steps when you wake in the morning and before bed at night for beautiful, glowing skin.
-
Step One: Cleanse
Morning & Evening
Gently apply a quarter-size amount of Cleansing Lotion to your dampened face. Using your fingertips, massage all areas of your face and neck for at least 30 seconds before rinsing.
Pro tip: Avoid using hot water to keep from dehydrating your skin. Lukewarm water should be used instead.
-
Step Two: Refresh
Optional for Morning & Evening
Mist Tone & Balance over the face and neck to remove last traces of dirt, makeup and debris from the skin while minimizing redness and inflammation.
Pro tip: Use Tone & Balance throughout the day to keep your skin nurtured and feeling comfortable. Tone & Balance can also be used to set makeup, in place of aftershave, to calm the discomfort of sunburn, in place of body lotion after a bath or shower, and more.
-
Step Three: Exfoliate
Morning & Evening
Place a nickel-size amount of AloeGlyC® in the palm of your hand. Using fingertips, massage AloeGlyC onto all areas of face and neck using upward and outward circles. Continue until blue vitamin C beads have dissolved. Take caution to avoid eyes.
Pro tip: If you are starting AloeGlyC for the first time, dilute it with moisturizer and only use it at night. Decrease dilution and increase usage over a two-week period.
-
Step Four: Deep Moisturize
Morning & Evening
Use your fingertips to massage Moisture Intensifier Serum all over face until fully absorbed into the skin.
-
Step Five: Moisturize
Morning & Evening
Use your fingertips to massage moisturizer all over your face and neck using upward and outward circular motions. Despite the name, Night Moisturizer can be used morning and evening by those with dry skin.

More Information for Dry Skin Type
The characteristics of dry and dehydrated skin, such as a feeling of tightness and flaking or scaly skin with rough texture, are due to insufficient water and/or oil levels in the skin. As dry skin worsens, so do the symptoms, which may evolve to include cracking and irritation.
The cause of this skin type can be genetics, aging, environmental factors, over-washing of skin, use of irritating ingredients, and more. Regardless of the cause, it is vital to repair the skin’s acid mantle and increase hydration while limiting moisture loss. To do that, a skin care routine for dry skin should include a few key elements:
-
Cleanse
Use of a gentle daily cleanser that removes dirt and impurities while preserving the acid mantle. Learn how to properly wash your face. -
Moisturize
Use of rich moisturizers that help to slow trans-epidermal water loss while lubricating and smoothing the skin. -
Deep Moisture
Use of a rich serum that aid in increasing skin moisture while offering antioxidant protection. -
Exfoliation
Regular exfoliation to improve skin texture, improve cellular rejuvenation and improve the penetration ability of products like serums and moisturizers. -
Protect
Daily use of sunscreen to protect skin and prevent photoaging. -
Maintain Moisture
Use of a gentle toner to keep skin hydrated and comfortable throughout the day while minimizing inflammation.
As we age, the skin of most individuals becomes drier. Additionally, dry skin can exaggerate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Therefore, while a proper skin care routine will eventually improve the overall appearance and condition of the skin, it is generally recommended that those with dry skin begin using the appropriate anti-aging products beginning in their early 20s. Peptide products are beneficial in that they signal the skin to increase its production of collagen, the protein that gives skin its strength and firmness.
The pharmaceutical grade of aloe vera that is used as the base of every Lexli product is very beneficial for those with dry skin. Unlike water, which is used as the base of most other skin care products, aloe vera can penetrate skin tissue where it delivers more than 200 active components that aid in skin healing and reduce inflammation while soothing damaged tissue.
