Lexli Products Are Now Leaping Bunny-Certified

Posted on

We are so excited to announce that the entire family of Lexli skin care products is now Leaping Bunny-certified!

Since our company’s formation more than 20 years ago, Lexli has committed to offering products that are cruelty-free. Leaping Bunny certification further illustrates our promise to never harm animals in the manufacture of our products.

We recognize that some of you may be unfamiliar with the Leaping Bunny program so allow us to tell you more about this organization and why we felt product certification was important.

What is Leaping Bunny?

The Leaping Bunny program is administered by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC), which is comprised of eight national animal protection groups. The CCIC promotes a single comprehensive standard for “cruelty-free” and administers the Leaping Bunny logo.

To become Leaping Bunny-certified, companies must demonstrate that animal testing is not conducted in any stage of product development. Additionally, Leaping Bunny companies must be open to independent audits and an annual commitment renewal.

Why did Lexli pursue Leaping Bunny certification?

As noted, Lexli has long been a cruelty-free company. However, we didn’t want customers to have to simply take our word for it. Certification through the Leaping Bunny program offers our customers the peace-of-mind of knowing that Lexli’s manufacturing processes and suppliers have been vetted and that animals are never harmed in the creation our products.

Will the Leaping Bunny logo now be featured on all Lexli products?

We will add the Leaping Bunny to product labels through an extended rollout process that will take more than a year. In the meantime, the logo and Leaping Bunny certification statement have been added to our website. Be assured that, even if you receive a Lexli product without the Leaping Bunny logo, it is still certified.
